The Pokémon Company has officially revealed Mythical Island, the second expansion of Pokémon TCG Pocket, accompanied by a trailer packed with exciting details! The expansion will be available on iOS and Android starting December 17, 2024, bringing a wave of must-have content for all players.

The presentation trailer suggests that some of the new cards could have a significant impact on competitive gameplay. Following the success of Genetic Apex, which focused on Mewtwo EX, this expansion shifts the spotlight to Mew. In addition to new cards, it is likely that new accessories and event missions related to Mythical Island will also be introduced.

What can we expect in Mythical Island?

This new expansion, set on a tropical island inspired by Mew’s home, will include:

1 Exclusive Booster Pack dedicated to Mew
Over 80 unique cards, including:
5 Pokémon EX cards, featuring stars like Mew EX, Aerodactyl EX, and Marshadow.
5 new Trainer cards, such as Leaf and Blue’s supporter cards.
Special full-art cards for Pokémon like Vaporeon, Dedenne, and many more!
Mythical Pokémon like Celebi and Marshadow making their debut, along with new versions of classic Pokémon such as Magmar, Tauros, Snivy, and the evolutionary line of Morelull.
