Recommended Decks for the Event
Since the Blastoise EX Deck primarily consists of Water-type Pokémon, it is highly recommended to play an Electric-type Deck to gain a strategic advantage in this event.
The Pikachu EX Aggro Deck is a strong choice for fast damage. Keep the gameplay quick and use support cards to speed up Electric Energy recovery.
If you don’t have the necessary cards to build a Pikachu EX Deck, you can try a more budget-friendly Electric-type variant:

Electabuzz, Galvantula, and Electrode are excellent choices to slow down the opponent’s deck and hinder the evolution into Blastoise EX. These Pokémon not only deal consistent damage but can also create tactical challenges that disrupt the flow of the opponent’s game.
It’s crucial to always keep a Tauros on the bench, ready to step in if your opponent plays Articuno EX or Blastoise EX.
